I Spy the United States Constitution is a 35-minute school program by artist Lee P. Sauer. It fulfills the Indiana schools requirement of an annual lesson on the Constitution. Sauer, who was named Indiana's top weekly newspaper political cartoonist in 2000 and 2001 by the Hoosier State Press Assocication, provides a primer on the history, content and importance of the Constitution. In the character of a special agent, he boils down the complicated subject into a fun, entertaining program aimed at K-6 grade students. Indiana schools use 'I Spy the United States Constitution' to fulfill the state's requirement for an annual lesson on the document that shapes our democracy.
